Today is the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord. What a great feast day! Today during the Angelus, let’s contemplate the mystery of the Transfiguration.
As we get towards the end of summer, don’t forget to remember God! Pope Leo said during his address today: “During summer, a time normally set aside for holidays and recreation, let us not neglect the Lord’s invitation to prepare our hearts by actively participating in the Eucharist and by doing generous acts of charity. May God bless you all!”
Let’s pray for all those who are suffering during war and famine today.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
