Habemus Papam! We’ve got a new Pope! For the first badge this summer, let’s explore Pope Leo XIV!

Pope Explorer Badge

The Pope. Who is he? What does he do? Everyone is talking about the Successor of St. Peter after the death of Pope Francis, the conclave, and the election of Pope Leo XIV.

In order to earn the Pope Explorer badge, Halo Trek’ers must choose any three things from the list below. When you are finished, download your badge at the link below!

Choose three things:

• Five facts: Learn about a past Pope of your choosing and name five facts about him.
• Leo XIV: Learn more about Pope Leo XIV, our new pope! What are some facts that you found interesting?
• What does the Pope do? Learn more about what the Pope does.
• Flag: Draw the Vatican Flag.
• The first pope: Read or learn about St. Peter, the first pope.
• Coat of arms: Design a coat of arms for the Pope.
• Pope titles: Learn about the different titles of the Pope.
• Listen to one of Pope Leo’s addresses: You can consult Vatican News, this playlist from EWTN, or others to find one.
